Dear HHF Family,
Henry’s Hope Foundation has launched a new program dedicated to helping pet parents who are awaiting life saving organ transplants.
About 36,000 Americans receive a life-saving transplant each year. Sadly, 17 people die each day waiting for an organ transplant.
Many of them are pet parents who have nowhere for their fur babies to go while they are waiting in the hospital or recovering from transplants.
And that’s where we come in.
We are looking for a team of volunteers who can help with the dogs and cats of transplant patients. We will supply food and treats, to hosting pets in loving homes while their humans are hospitalized and recovering from organ transplants.
We need your support.
If this tugs on your heartstrings, please reach out and get involved.
We dedicate “Bubba’s Heart” to Jeff Kaplinski who lost his battle in 2020 while waiting for a heart. Here he is with his Pittie Princess Izzy:
Henry’s Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on saving injured, ill, and discarded pets (dogs and cats) from high kill shelters in the Los Angeles area. We are 100% volunteer-based and rely solely on donations and fundraising to achieve our goals towards turning our city, county, and state into no kill.
We have partnered up with countless animal shelters as well as Best Friends Animal Society (NKLA) and strive to educate our communities to spay, neuter, vaccinate, and care for their pets for life. We house our dogs and cats in foster homes. We work in conjunction with fellow rescue groups in solving the homeless pet population problem in our cities.
Henry’s Hope saves hundreds of dogs each year including those from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and slaughterhouses in China through partnerships with global rescues.
Every penny goes directly to the care and support of our fur babies!
