Transplant Challenges

Staggering Statistics: Every year, approximately 36,000 Americans receive the gift of life through organ transplants. However, the harsh reality is that 17 individuals lose their lives each day waiting for a transplant.

Challenges for Pet Parents: Many of these individuals are loving pet owners who face the heartbreaking dilemma of who will care for their beloved pets while they are hospitalized or recovering.



How We Help

Support for Pets: Henry’s Hope Foundation steps in to fill this gap. We provide essential care for the dogs of transplant patients, ensuring they are safe and loved during their owner’s medical procedures.

What We Offer: Nutritious food and treats for pets and temporary homes with volunteer families who provide warmth and affection.



Our Mission

Henry’s Hope Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on saving injured, ill, and discarded dogs from high kill shelters in the Los Angeles area. We are 100% volunteer-based and rely solely on donations and fundraising to achieve our goals towards turning our city, county, and state into no kill.

We have partnered up with countless animal shelters as well as Best Friends Animal Society (NKLA) and strive to educate our communities to spay, neuter, vaccinate, and care for their pets for life. We house our dogs in foster homes. We work in conjunction with fellow rescue groups in solving the homeless pet population problem in our cities.

Henry’s Hope saves hundreds of dogs each year including those from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and slaughterhouses in China through partnerships with global rescues.
